Materials: You provide the primary fixtures or finish materials (e.g., light fixtures, faucets, ceiling fans, or paint). We supply standard shop sundries (e.g., screws, adhesives, or caulking). Any HomeHero-sourced materials are billed at cost plus a 20% procurement markup.

Exclusions: Per Illinois building codes, new electrical circuits and major plumbing modifications must be performed by a licensed trade specialist. We focus on repairs and replacements; for new installations requiring a permit, we are happy to provide professional referrals.

- Add-Ons: Extras like material pickup ($50) or debris disposal ($25–$150) quoted upfront.
- Materials: You supply paint, fixtures, or smart devices; we provide minor materials (e.g., screws). HomeHero materials at cost + 20%.
- Payment: Due upon completion via card, check, or digital platforms. 2% late fee after 7 days.
- Scheduling: Book early via illinoishomehero.com. Some jobs (e.g., drywall) may need two visits.
- Warranty: Warranty visits with additional services get priority scheduling within 1 week; standalone claims scheduled within 2–3 weeks.
- Exclusions: Licensed electricians/plumbers required for new wiring/plumbing per Illinois law—referrals provided. We handle the 90% of home repairs that don’t require a permit, saving you the ‘Master Electrician’ premium for simple fixture swaps.
