Workmanship Warranty

We warrant our labor against defects in workmanship for one (1) year from job completion. If a defect arises from our installation or repair, we will repair or redo the work at no cost.

What’s Covered

• Labor on all HomeHero services (repairs, lite renovations, painting, assembly, smart-home installs, commercial fixes, property management work).
• Materials we supply and install (limited to our workmanship).

What’s Not Covered

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse, abuse, or accidents
• Customer-supplied materials
• Damage from weather, acts of nature, or third parties
• Manufacturer defects (passed through manufacturer warranty only)
• Work requiring licensed trades (electrical, plumbing) — We can provide a referral to a licensed technician.

How to Make a Claim

• Contact us by the next business day after noticing the issue (phone, email, or warranty form).
• Provide job details and photos.
• We’ll inspect and fix valid claims free of charge.
• Our liability is limited to the original service cost.

Scheduling

Warranty fixes are scheduled as soon as possible — priority if combined with new paid work.

Other Details

• Warranty is non-transferable.
• We comply with Illinois’ laws, including the Home Repair and Remodeling Act.
• Disputes governed by Illinois law, venue in Lake County courts.
